If your at a party, wearing a white tee, and a fight breaks out. Punch the first guy you see with a red drink in their hands. You’ll be damned if anyone spills juice on your shirt.
I know you might be looking at this like what? First of all I’m a devote Christian. Jesus is my Lord and we are tight. But really if your bored by yourself or with your friends. Try a Church event. This is a goo cheap hangout idea because most churches are trying hard to appeal to the youth. Go with your friends and listen to some good music, watch T.V., get some free food, maybe meet some Church girls that you can bring home to mom, and you never know, you might have a life changing experience.
Honestly my favorite beer is Bud Light Lime. Call up a bunch of friends and tell a couple of them to bring 6 packs. Drink responsibly, but as long as you have some drinks you’ll have a party. (And if you think that this cheap hangout idea contradicts my first one. Think about this. Jesus’ first miracle was turning water into wine.)
Call up a bunch of your friends and just kick it in your basement. Have a beer, play some video games, watch a movie. It’s better to be bored with friends than bored alone, and I promise you they’re are always people wondering what can I do for free. “the Basement” is a cheap hangout idea classic.
Honestly you don’t need a big fire to have a good time. Just call up some guys / girls and start a controlled fire outside. You guys will have enough fun just trying to find things to burn.
Alright this is my favorite. If you and your friends are ever wondering what you can do for free. Make a scavenger hunt list. Be as creative as possible. For Example: One of our scavenger hunts included a receipt for 11 cents of gas, a picture of one of us riding a bike in Wal Mart, and a signed pair of a girls boy shorts from the girl you got them from. I mean since we paid 11 cents for the gas receipt it wasn’t completely free, but come on it was fun hangout idea. (I don’t recommend this, but we also had to take a picture of one of us giving a random stranger a back massage without asking for permission)
It Wal Mart. Most Wal Marts are open 24 hours nowadays. Just go to Wal Mart with your friends if your bored. I promise you’ll find something to do. But be careful. It stops being a cheap hangout idea as soon as you start buying stuff.
Go to a bar or a lounge on karaoke night and just sing. Sometimes they give out prizes for people with the guts to sing. You’ll kill your boredom and you’ll have a night to remember.
Regardless of if you have friends around or not. Hop up on that PS3 or Xbox and play online. You’ll make friends, join teams, and it’ll eat up hours of your time. I’ve literally heard a story about two World of War Craft Players who fell in love, and got married in real life because of their interactions in that game. (Crazy Right)
I don’t like the bar scene that much. But to each is his own. If your bored hit up a bar. It’s free and you can meet some INTERESTING people. Again its not a cheap hangout idea if you’re buying everyone drinks. Keep your eyes on the prize, we’re being cheap here.
Break out that old monopoly, Don’t wake Daddy, Trouble etc…, call up some friends, and go wild. Those throw back games are amazing for a free and fun night.
This free hangout idea is usually for guys, but more and more women are playing video games now. Hit up your friends and just play madden, or 2K. Make a tournament out of it. You’ll play for hours.
What can you do for free? Play Man Hunt. ( For those who don’t know what Man Hunt is. It’s Hide and Go Seek in the Dark. All you need to play is people and darkness, cheapest hangout idea ever)
Every TRUE Bachelor knows to have Twister in their house. Call up a mixed crowd guys and girls, and bust out the twister. It’s an easy way to break ice and get close to the opposite sex.
Thousands of videos are added to Youtube Daily. Just start typing phrases into the Youtube search. I promise you’ll find some funny things. (Type in ballin etiquettes)
Sports are always good for boredom. They’re good exercise and people are usually down to play. Plus Wiffle Ball is a classic.
Call up a couple of friends (guys and girls), grab a couple of beers, turn on some music and have a dance off (If your party really gets involved you can start a soul train,) Another good dance idea is Red Light Green Light. You need 3 lamps for this kind of party. Buy a red bulb, a yellow bulb, and a green bulb. Put one in each lamp. Have someone on the lights and music. People can dance freely when the Green light is on, people have to slow down when the yellow light is on ( its good if you have a chopped and screwed song on during yellow.) and people have to freeze in place when the red light comes on. If done right it can be a lot of fun. |
